- The Washington Metro accident may have been a symptom of the aging US transit rail fleet. More than a third of rolling stock is rated in marginal or poor condition. (NYT)

I agree with Rep. Mica. The Obama administration is definitely wrong for merely advocating an extension of the existing federal transportation bill, and it will come back to bite them in the ass. Less $$ for transportation projects= less jobs for Americans.
